During this full day class, we will have enough time to go deep and through in this effective technique, learning together how to create the perfect consistency for your own hands and needs and how to make a super-sharp miniature piping bag with ease.
As an added bonus, I will also teach you my unique technique for safe food tracing without using pencils, projectors or stencils. We will finally see how to enhance the 3D effect by hand painting shadows and details that will boost your creation.

In this intensive, hands-on class, you will create the sweetest pulled sugar/Isomalt beehive atop a honeycomb base with sculpted and cast bees, hand-pulled black eyed susans, and a hand-sculpted honey dipper and honey. We will airbrush and paint to bring out the fabulous highlights in this beautiful sugar sculpture that is great to hold candies, chocolates, mini cupcakes or as a cake topper or centerpiece. We will address structure, strength, and delivery of your sculpture as well as color, clarity, safety, humidity, and more. All supplies provided for class use. All levels, some Isomalt experience helpful, but not necessary.
In this class students will be introduced to Cake Dutchess Modeling paste and create super cute Kawaii breakfast themed cupcake toppers. Students will also decorate a cake board.
Limelight hydrangeas are a beautiful flower and would make a lovely filler flower or part of floral spray. I will demo how to make the flower, petal dust, and assemble the flower and assemble it into a small group. You will see how to use tools, supplies, cutters, veiners, petal dust, taping petals.

From logos to fanciful designs to a classic marble look, this decorating trick is so on-trend and will help you to create Instagram buzz worthy designs on your cake creations. And as a bonus, you will also be taught Reva's "soft method" buttercream rose technique.
The Modern Textures and Metallics class is all about learning different ways to apply unique texture and dimension to your cakes and edible creations. You will play with techniques like watercolor, hand painting, concrete/stone effect, and a little bas relief as well. This is not a completed cake class. You will learn a variety of techniques on a flat surface, which can then be translated to your edible creations at home for loved ones or in your sweets business.
