In the first half of this class, students will create their very own Harry Potter figure and learn valuable fondant modeling techniques in how to bring life and expression to this cute Harry Potter figure.
Aspects covered at this portion of the workshop include; body structure, Hogwarts uniform detail, facial features, and Harry’s signature hair style. You can use the skills you learn at this workshop on your future fondant creations.
This workshop is open to ALL SKILL LEVELS from Beginner to Professional.

During this full day class, we will have enough time to go deep and through in this effective technique, learning together how to create the perfect consistency for your own hands and needs and how to make a super-sharp miniature piping bag with ease.
As an added bonus, I will also teach you my unique technique for safe food tracing without using pencils, projectors or stencils. We will finally see how to enhance the 3D effect by hand painting shadows and details that will boost your creation.

In this course, students will start by learning the basics of fondant by understanding the different types of fondant, then learning how to properly cover a tier without causing rips, tears, or elephant skin. Students will also learn the secrets to creating sharp edges with ease and how to ensure there is no seam between your tiers. Lastly, students will tackle covering an extended, tall tier in a modern granite inspired texture and how to create unique textures of your own. By the end of class, every student will have a completed two-tiered cake to take home with the knowledge to create perfectly cover cakes in fondant in any shape or form.
Learn to make a beautiful focal flower perfect for a cake topper or as a side design. Learn to make the spiral unfurling center, petals and leaves with cutters and veiners with only a few tools. Learn petal dusting techniques to shade the leaves then assemble it for a beautiful flower.
